Gas Saver

Gas Saver is an ancillary Rocket Ship function mainly for lowering gas fees per trade - one of the product's core values. Our solution is a Layer 2-esque approach. Rocket Ships aggregate interested token buyers. Upon boarding, a fee is paid which covers gas for the eventual transactions.

Gas Saver will charge a fixed fee on average from each user who has chosen the Rocket Ship. The collected Gas Fees will automatically select appropriate Transaction Fees based on the amount. If the collected Gas Fee amount is higher, the transaction chain will prioritize choosing higher transaction Fees to ensure the transaction obtains a higher priority. Otherwise, lower priority will be chosen.

The Gas Fee paid by users is fixed. Each participating user will pay the same amount of Gas Fee. After the transaction is completed, any excess part of the Gas Fee will be fully refunded to the user's account. Rocket-3 will not deduct any excess from the Gas Fees.

Gas Saver has two core purposes:

The first is to save users' gas fee expenditures. For most users, when making transactions on Dex, the transaction amounts usually do not exceed 100 USD, while the high gas fees often become an obstacle for users to conduct transactions, which has always been a challenge. Gas Saver reduces individual fees through collectively aggregating demands and allocating fees evenly to all trade participants, so that each user with transaction demands can achieve their trading goals while substantially lowering spending.

The second purpose is to enable users to conduct transactions with higher priority. When completing on-chain transactions, paying higher gas fees can get higher priority, and miners will process such transactions preferentially. However, most users tend to choose lower priority gas fees to minimize overall spending when trading. But this often backfires because with lower priority, users usually face more risks like attacks by bots or losing profits to counterparties. In active markets, low priority often results in losses or low returns.

Therefore, Rocket Ship's goal is to raise enough gas fees through crowdfunding to complete higher priority transactions. With this feature, users can achieve the effect of "paying less gas fees and getting a better experience," which is a very convenient solution for both existing and new users.
